Toronto inspects its rental apartment buildings and publishes the scores. This map puts all of them in one place, so a tower's record is visible before you ever visit it.
Tap a building for its address, size, age and score.
It also shows which buildings have suites available, read each morning from the landlords' own websites.
What's inside
- The building list and the scores come from the City of Toronto's open data.
- Availability is collected once a day from more than twenty landlords. The map says how much of the market that covers, and how old the data is.
- It runs with no server of its own: the daily job writes one file and the map reads it.
